What is High Five Christmas?
Heartfull Family's HIGH FIVE CHRISTMAS is an annual campaign that delivers Christmas gift boxes filled with snacks, books, and surprises to children growing up in single-parent families across Japan.
2026 National Goal:
21,000 children across 14,000 single-parent households.
With the support of donors, companies, and volunteers, the campaign aims to deliver Christmas joy to families nationwide on December 25.
For many children, this may be their only Christmas gift and it carries more than just items.
It's more than a Christmas gift.
For some children, Christmas is a time when they quietly stop asking for presents, knowing how hard their parents are working just to make ends meet.
But when a Christmas gift arrives unexpectedly, something wonderful happens. A child's face lights up. A parent sees their child smile.
And for a moment, the worries of everyday life give way to the simple magic of Christmas.
Because the greatest gift isn't what's inside the box.
It's knowing that someone cares. That you're not forgotten.
That you're not alone.

"My daughters told me they didn't want anything for Christmas."
My two teenage daughters kept telling me they didn't want anything for Christmas. I wondered if they were trying not to burden me.
But when the Christmas box arrived, they were so excited. They couldn't wait to open it and discover what was inside.
Seeing them so happy made me happy too. Knowing that people were thinking of our family reminded me that we weren't alone.
I was moved to tears.
