A Once-in-a-Lifetime Sumo Day for Single-Parent Families
Hokutofuji Danpatsu-shiki (Retirement Ceremony) | Ryogoku Kokugikan | May 30, 2026
Corporate sponsorship needed to fund logistics
(tickets already donated)
A partner company has already donated the tickets.
Heartfull Family wants to bring single-parent families (mothers and children) to Ryogoku Kokugikan for a rare, once-in-a-lifetime sumo day.
To make the trip actually happen, we need a sponsor company to cover the logistics and operations (staffing, coordination, and on-the-day support). Without that support, the families can’t attend.
Supporting companies can attend too, with a limited number of sponsor seats available, to experience the day alongside the families.
Event: Hokutofuji Danpatsu-shiki (Retirement Ceremony & Sumo Matches)
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Venue: Ryogoku Kokugikan (Tokyo)
Families invited: 100 people (Heartfull Family parents + children)
What you and the families will experience on the day
This is not just a Sumo retirement ceremony. It’s a full day at the Kokugikan, including:
-
Dohyō-iri (Ring-entering ceremony)
-
Sumo match viewing (live bouts)
-
Danpatsu ceremony - the emotional climax of the day
Schedule: Doors open 10:30 / Bouts begin 11:30 / Ends around 16:00 (subject to change)

WHY THIS MATTERS
For many single-parent families, it’s not only money, it’s time, energy, and “permission” to do something special.
This invitation creates something simple but powerful:
-
a shared memory between parent and child
-
a day of belonging, not isolation
-
an experience they may never normally consider paying for, but will remember for years
A danpatsu-shiki is also culturally rare, it happens only once per wrestler!
