Minna No Code NPO
Advancing computer science and technology education for every child in Japan
Location: Kanagawa (Yokohama) — working nationwide
Mission:
To ensure every child in Japan can discover their potential and create new value through technology, closing opportunity gaps across home, region, school, and gender.
Who we are
Minna no Code (みんなのコード) is a Japanese education NPO focused on strengthening technology education across both school education and social education.
They collaborate with teachers, schools, education boards, researchers, and corporate partners to ensure that children, regardless of background, can build the skills and confidence to create with technology.
Their work is guided by a simple question:
“Is technology education truly reaching ‘everyone’?”

The challenges we face
-
Sustainable funding for free programs
-
To keep teacher training, learning materials, and program delivery free for schools, Minna no Code needs reliable activity funding from supporters and corporate partners.
-
-
Reaching more foreign-capital / global companies in Japan
-
They need more multinational partners who can provide funding and long-term support
-
-
Making their work accessible in English
-
They need help translating key materials into English, not just word-for-word translation, but messaging that feels meaningful and relevant to global companies.
-
